The Dwarf 3 is a smart telescope designed to simplify astrophotography. It combines the mount, guidance system, camera, and capture software in a compact body, eliminating all the complexity typical of traditional equipment. Setup is quick, alignment is automatic, and all control is done via a smartphone or tablet, with its own app.
In addition to astronomical use, the Dwarf 3 can be used during the day, functioning as a motorized telephoto lens for distance photography and animal tracking. The tracking system allows you to keep birds or other animals in the frame, something difficult to achieve with conventional telephoto equipment.
Although it does not include a tripod, the standard thread allows the use of any photographic tripod. The EQ mode is very easy to use, with step-by-step instructions, and longer exposure times can be achieved without star distortion.
The integration of plate solving, the ability to stack images in real time, and the possibility of using EQ mode on a standard tripod are key points of its efficiency. Its size and weight make it easy to transport and encourage quick sessions without the heavy logistics of a traditional setup.

The purpose of the Dwarf 3 is to allow you to capture nebulae, clusters, and galaxies with minimal effort, while offering a practical daytime mode. It is not intended to replace advanced systems, but it provides surprising autonomy for its size. The interface is straightforward, the menus are intuitive, and the learning curve is short—ideal for those who want to spend more time observing than adjusting equipment. Although it can distinguish Saturn's rings or Jupiter's Galilean moons, it is not ideal for those who want to see other bodies in the solar system in detail, apart from the moon and the sun (it includes a solar filter for this purpose).
The star chart makes it very easy to search for points of interest. Simply identify it on the chart or search by name (common or scientific) and you are ready to follow that object in the sky.
For those who like to do their own stacking and image processing, the Dwarf also saves individual images in FITS format, ensuring that no information is lost, and they are available via USB to copy to your workstation.
